US FDA calls for voluntary use of child-resistant nicotine pouch packaging

The regulator has issued calls in recent weeks for companies to voluntarily start using child-resistant packaging for nicotine pouches, and for retailers to voluntarily stop selling vaping products that have not gone through the premarket tobacco product application (PMTA) process.
